Tuesday, December 1st, 2026: Cutoff Date for Wreath Orders (Wreaths purchased after this date are not guaranteed for 2026 placement)
Saturday, December 19th, 2026: Wreaths Across America Day will begin at 10:00am. We are hoping to once again park at Erlanger Hospital. Busses will shuttle volunteers to/from the cemetery starting at 9AM
Wreath placement is a time to remember, honor, and teach. Wreath laying is not an adornment of graves. We do not decorate. We remember our heroes, their service, their sacrifices. We participate not to honor their deaths but to celebrate their lives.
Here are a few basic guidelines for you or your group when honoring the life of the deceased on National Wreaths Across America Day December 19,2026.
No wreaths are to be placed until after the (very short) 10AM ceremony.
Please do not take more than one or two wreaths at a time for placement. Many people want to participate, and we want to allow everyone the opportunity.
Place the wreath with reverence, bow at the top, pause in gratitude, say their name (or thank you), and salute the stone that represents the person whose memory is being honored. If you are non-military, you can bow your head in respect in lieu of a hand salute. (For proper wreath placement etiquette, watch the video below)
Wreaths are to only be placed in designated sections. Please do not move boxes to other sections.
Additionally, please graves where family members have asked to place the wreath are identified with small, solid blue colored flags. Please allow family members to place these Grave Specific Wreaths and don’t remove them if they are already placed. Please do not remove the flags, even after wreath placement, as they help us ensure all the Grave Specific Wreaths have been placed.
Blessings and comfort to you and yours in the New Year. We are grateful to have you participate.
