INFORMATION ABOUT BUSINESS SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS
At the bottom of the page, we are listing two types of supporters...
1st - We are listing the businesses that are helping us reach our 2019 goal, to place a wreath at the headstone of all 46,000 veterans buried at Chattanooga National Cemetery, and below that, we have listed the major supporters that helped us place nearly 10,000 wreaths in 2018.
2nd - We are listing the non-profit groups that have signed up to become "WAA Fundraising Groups" for 2019. The members of these organizations have worked for years to help us place wreaths on the headstones of our vets, and we really appreciate their efforts through the years.
Please review these community supporters, and (a) thank them when you see them, and (b) support their businesses so they can continue to support our veterans.
1 - How to sponsor a wreath - General Sponsorship instructions
There are a couple ways to sponsor a non-designated wreath. Here are the differences...
Option A: $15 per wreath. For most of the volunteer organizations seeking sponsorship of wreaths, you make a $15 donation for a wreath (which is payable to WAA and sent to WAA headquarters for Chattanooga National Cemetery, location TNCNCC). WAA keeps $10 that goes towards the construction and shipping of the wreaths, and $5 is sent back to support the non-profit group that solicits the donation.
Option B: $10 per wreath. The Patriot Guard Riders are raising funds to provide additional wreaths from Wreaths Across America for the fallen heroes at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. To help facilitate our drive to lay a wreath on every grave, The Patriot Guard has established a "3 for 2" option that allows you to purchase three wreaths for the price of two. Please consider making a donation towards the $470,000 needed to cover the entire cemetery. The following link offers a bonus wreath for every 2 purchased, so $15 =1 wreath but $30 = 3 wreaths.
For answers to questions or comments about this website, or the Patriot Guard, or any events, Email: email@example.com
2 - HOW TO SPONSOR A WREATH FOR A DESIGNATED HEADSTONE
All the heroes at Chattanooga National Cemetery deserve to be honored on Wreath Day, however, we are only able to honor as many heroes as wreaths that have been purchased. To ensure your hero is honored, you can purchase a Grave Specific Wreath at a cost of $15.00. If you purchased a wreath for a specific hero, click this button and complete the form to ensure placement of the wreath on wreath day.
If you have not already purchased your wreath for a specific hero, follow these directions: From the main web page, select SPONSOR WREATHS and choose the “Grave Specific” option on the lower right corner of the screen that pops up.
Select “SPONSOR WREATHS”
elect “Grave Specific” in the bottom right corner of the pop-up. Or CLICK HERE to go straight to the “Grave Specific” page. When you get to this screen, you can begin your purchase.
Select the option of who will be placing the wreath (volunteers will be available on Wreath Day if you are unable to attend) Fill in the form with your hero’s First name, Last name, Service roll (Military, Spouse, First Responder, etc.), and branch of service. This is required for us to locate your hero.
Complete as much of the remaining information on the form as possible to help us locate your hero. Be sure to select “ADD TO CART” and complete the purchase of your wreaths so that your hero can be honored on Wreath Day.
3 - HOW TO REGISTER YOUR NON-PROFIT AS A 2019 FUNDRAISING GROUP
First, you need someone in your group to become a "Group Coordinator" for your organization by registering on the WAA website by clicking here: SignUp And, here are the downloadable forms and support information you will need. Note: Make sure you designate Chattanooga National Cemetery as the location for your sponsored wreaths by using the Location Code: "TNCNCC" . Please note: There are no “grave specific name” options on the sponsorship form. Placing a name in the “In Honor Of” or “In Memory Of” does NOT mean that a wreath will be placed on this individuals resting place. If you want to sponsor a wreath for a loved one's specific grave at Chattanooga National Cemetery, please send an email to WAA@gmail.com as outlined above. Here are some downloadable resources useful for our Fundraising Groups.
